GameStop adds SKU placeholders for 20+ new Switch games ahead of E3

Trusted Nintendo journalist and leaker Sabi has shared photos to Twitter revealing SKU placeholders for over 20 new Nintendo Switch games in the GameStop database. With E3 2019 just a week away, it stands to reason that these anonymous SKU units all represent Switch games that will be announced at the event. Check out the photos below.

Sabi further says that “Over 20 new PS4 games listed, and a little less Microsoft games” are in the GameStop listings. So as expected, nobody will be missing out on the fun this E3.

Speculating about the GameStop Switch game SKUs

What could these myriad new Switch games be? Well, one of them could be the much anticipated but unannounced Collection of Mana, which Square Enix has taken out two separate trademarks for. There are also big rumors surrounding Metroid Prime Trilogy and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. There is likewise a rumor with a lot of steam behind it that Switch will receive a game from THQ Nordic called Darksiders: Genesis.

Ultimately though, your guess is as good as mine when it comes to unannounced games. In a perfect world, this would be the year that we get Chrono Break, but, uh, I doubt we live in that perfect world quite yet.
