Fire Emblem: Three Houses takes 80 hours to finish just one house path

Fire Emblem: Three Houses is the huge and hugely anticipated upcoming project from Intelligent Systems and Koei Tecmo, releasing worldwide on July 26. French news site talked with Nintendo and Intelligent Systems directors Genki Yokota and Toshiyuki Kusakihara respectively at Japan Expo about Three Houses. Among the various aspects of the game discussed, Kusakihara revealed that it took him 80 hours to complete just one of the game’s three available house paths.

That figure includes cinematics, which he did not skip. Extrapolating, Kusakihara reasonably figures it could take over 200 hours to complete all three houses and experience this new Fire Emblem narrative from every possible angle. These are pretty big numbers we’re talking about! Although, for lovers of the strategy RPG genre, this may be exactly what they were hoping to hear.

Nintendo Enthusiast recently dived into the big changes you can expect to see in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, so make sure to check that out if you haven’t already. Or if Advance Wars is more your speed, (It sure is for me.) we certainly hope you’ve picked up Wargroove, which is practically the same thing.

Other strategy fans continue to cross their fingers day in and day out for Final Fantasy Tactics to appear on Switch. Just remember to keep yelling at Square Enix on Twitter, folks.
