The release of Final Fantasy VII Remake has put the whole internet in the mood for more Final Fantasy content. People are making plenty of Final Fantasy content in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, including changing their town song to the Final Fantasy victory theme. But when you think user-created Animal Crossing content, you think clothing. A lot of these Animal Crossing Final Fantasy codes are inspired by Final Fantasy VII and its spin-offs of course, but there’s representation across the series and plenty of Chocobos.
To use these codes, you need to have the Able Sisters shop unlocked on your island and a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Head to the Pro Design kiosk in the back (the pink standing screen) where you can download these designs or upload some of your own to share with others.
Final Fantasy VII outfit codes
Although not every important Final Fantasy VII character makes an appearance in this list, heavy hitters like Cloud Strife or Aerith are very well-represented.

Sephiroth has a pretty full wardrobe. These are two of the most iconic outfits though.

Sorry folks. The creators have spoken, and Jessie gets the Avalanche representation.

Crisis Core and Advent Children outfit codes
Final Fantasy VII didn’t end with original game. There’s also the PSP action prequel Crisis Core and the Advent Children film sequel.

Final Fantasy XIV outfit codes
Final Fantasy XIV is one of the biggest MMOs out there, with an intense following and an incredible number of outfits, aka Glamours. It’d probably be impossible to recreate all of FFXIV‘s outfits in Animal Crossing, but here’s a collection of popular and class-related costumes.

Codes for the Final Fantasy XV party
Final Fantasy XV‘s party has been often compared to a boy band, and with good reason. They’re all handsome and visually distinct, each with a specific personality to match their distinct brand of handsomeness. If you and your own group of friends want to dress up like the prince and his escort, these are for you.

And here’s a coat from the Kingsglaive film just for good measure.

Final Fantasy Chocobo codes
This fantastical chicken-ostrich hybrid creature has served as a sort of mascot for the Final Fantasy franchise. Featured in every game, like Cid and airships, the Chocobo is one of the most iconic parts of the series, and no compilation of user-created Final Fantasy content would be complete without it.

Other Animal Crossing Final Fantasy outfits
There is plenty of Final Fantasy outside Cloud and co. and more ways to celebrate your love for the classic series if you don’t want to dress up like a character. Kefka and Edgar definitely wouldn’t be happy about being put together, but the creator community hasn’t delved much into Final Fantasy VI yet.

Next up we’ve got a few outfits for Final Fantasy VIII‘s major characters.

Whatever.

One clever creator did the entire main Final Fantasy IX cast as well, villains included.

Someone else threw in Garnet’s wedding dress too, as a nice extra touch.

Some of Final Fantasy X‘s heroes got the Animal Crossing treatment too. We’re still waiting for X-2‘s outfits, though.

(We’ve updated the article with a few Final Fantasy XIII designs!)

Then there are the frustrating lone findings from Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy Type-0 respectively for New Horizons.
