Fight God Emperor Doom in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3’s final DLC

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Shadow of Doom Doctor Doom God Emperor Doom Fantastic Four playable characters DLC

The Fantastic Four DLC for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order pits players against God Emperor Doom. “Shadow of Doom” is the final announced DLC pack for the game, and launching today for expansion pass owners, it adds five new playable characters: the Fantastic Four plus Doctor Doom. New costumes are available as well, being the Future Foundation uniforms for the Fantastic Four, as well as the 2099 variant costume for Doctor Doom.

In order to access the new DLC and face off against God Emperor Doom, you’ll need to own the expansion pass. Those who don’t own the pass will be able to play part of the new DLC’s story for free, but the full content is locked behind the expansion pass. A number of new free and premium costumes have also been added to the game, as well as an increased level cap for heroes and brand new gameplay features such as higher levels in Danger Room and new Gauntlets.

The DLC was showcased in today’s Nintendo Direct Mini as well. A new Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 trailer shows just some of the moves that players can pull off as Mr. Fantastic, the Thing, the Human Torch, and the Invisible Woman. We also get a little look at God Emperor Doom right at the end, but not enough to know just how good this new costume looks on him. Doom is wrong when he says that he always wins, but I don’t think that means he should be punched in the face by The Thing any less.
