Like a one-two punch, some festive offers for the end of the year on the EU Nintendo Switch eShop are following last month’s huge Black Friday sale. This EU-specific sale contains over 900 games for Switch and has gone live today for users in that region. There’s quite a bit of overlap with the last sale as it was less than a month ago, but there are some different highlights this time around.
First off, Cuphead is on sale at 30% off, and I can’t recall seeing discounts that big in the past. This boss-filled platformer is moderately priced and hugely popular, so discounts might be rarer and minimal. On the other end of the scale, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is always on sale, and a festive discount is live. The Rabbids/Mario mashup currently has 63% off the base game, 60% off the Gold Edition, and 50% off the season pass individually.

Other highlights include Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch at a substantial 75% off and a 50% discount on Final Fantasy VII. There doesn’t seem to be much of a sale on big first-party Nintendo games, but that’s no real surprise. Nintendo tends to highlight its own games by offering separate sale periods, albeit usually at a maximum of 33% off.
