Dusk Diver, a crazy action brawler, dives into Switch on Oct. 29

Fans of hot-blooded and anime-fueled brawler games have some good news coming their way. From publisher PQube and developer JFI Games, Taiwanese cel-shaded action game Dusk Diver has a confirmed English release date of Oct. 29 for North America and Oct. 25 for Europe. We’ve seen bits and pieces of the game since 2018, but it’s coming together to look like a pretty sharp action experience.

The story is about high school student Yang Yumo brawling with baddies in a fantasy adventure across the mysterious mirror dimensions of Ximending and Youshanding. Being developed in Taiwan, the game is aiming to capture the vibrant energy of the real-life Ximending district. It’s one of the most popular tourist locations in Taiwan, so being able to explore it in Dusk Diver could help inspire further interest in the area.
