Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour comes to Switch next week

Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour

The King is back, baby! Though a few years late (the original game launched in 1996), Duke Nukem 3D 20th Anniversary World Tour is heading to Switch next week, having previously been released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. While this may be a surprise for some, others may remember that the ESRB rated the Switch launch late last year.

This version of Duke Nukem 3D includes the four classic episodes from the original release, alongside a new fifth episode from the game’s original designers. Of course, Duke Nukem wouldn’t be the same without the voice talents of Jon St. John, so he has returned to provide a voice to the hero once again. If you’d rather take on the alien invasion with friends, the game supports up to a whopping eight players in either local or online multiplayer. In addition to these features, the Switch version also exclusively features gyroscopic aiming, motion controls, and HD Rumble support.

Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour blasts onto the Switch eShop next Tuesday, June 23rd, at a price of $9.99. If you jump at the chance to pre-order it, however, you can gets it for 50% off. Either way, if you’re a fan of classic shooters, you won’t want to let this launch pass by you!
