The open-world action RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is coming to Nintendo Switch next month to tell the story of DBZ, and Bandai has released a story trailer for the game that takes us through its many sagas, from the Saiyan Saga to the Majin Buu Saga.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot puts you in control of Goku and friends throughout the entirety of Dragon Ball Z. The base game indeed extends from the Saiyan Saga to the Majin Buu Saga. As for the included A New Power Awakens DLC, it adds content from Dragon Ball Super. The first part of the DLC introduces Beerus and Whis. The second part introduces the Super Saiyan Blue form for Goku and Vegeta, who take on the powerful Golden Frieza as originally seen in the Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ film.
The main story follows everything from the original work, but the game also adds bits of lore not included in the original manga or anime. There are intermissions between each main saga in the story to train characters or explore freely. That’s where you can take on sub-stories or mini-stories to learn more about the world and lore of DBZ.
