Destroy All Humans! remake vaporizes Nintendo Switch in June

THQ Nordic Black Forest Games Nintendo Switch Destroy All Humans release date June 29, 2021 Destroy All Humans!

In July 2020, publisher THQ Nordic and developer Black Forest Games brought a remake of Pandemic Studios’ Destroy All Humans! to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Today, they announced that Nintendo Switch will finally receive Destroy All Humans! as well with a release date of June 29, 2021, retailing for $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99. It will include all skins previously created for the game, including the “Skin Pack” DLC.

As is typical, somewhat maddening practice for THQ Nordic, two special and expensive collector’s editions of the Nintendo Switch version of Destroy All Humans! will be released. However, they will oddly and unfortunately only be available in the United Kingdom and greater Europe this time. The €149.99 / £139.99 DNA Collector’s Edition will include a Crypto’N’Cow figurine, keychain, six lithographs, anti-stress/eye-popping toy (neat), and a premium box to contain it all. The eye-watering €399.99 / £349.99 Crypto-137 Edition includes a Crypto-137 figurine, Crypto backpack, keychain, six lithographs, anti-stress toy/eye-popping toy, and a premium box for the contents.

Destroy All Humans! released to a mostly but not resoundingly positive critical reception last year, yet sales still exceeded THQ Nordic’s expectations. The game looks pretty solid graphically in its Switch announcement trailer, but of course, trailers are literally the best the game will ever look. Time will reveal the quality of this Switch port.

What do you think about Nintendo Switch finally receiving the Destroy All Humans! remake in June?
