Descenders finally rolls onto Switch on November 6th

It’s been a long journey, but after two years of waiting, the procedurally generated biking game Descenders finally received a Switch launch date. Publisher No More Robots announced this morning via Twitter that the title will be rolling out in just over a month on November 6th, with both digital and physical editions.

Created by the team behind Action Henk, Descenders has you join one of three teams as you try to survive a procedurally generated course filled with all sorts of off-road paths, jumps, and other obstacles. As if that wasn’t interesting enough, you’ll also earn special mutators as you play, providing an even fresher experience with each run.

The Switch marks the last platform Descenders has to hit. Originally launched in 2019 for the PC and Xbox One to generally favorable reviews, Descenders only recently came to the PlayStation 4 last month. While I have yet to try the game, Descenders appeals to my love of roguelikes and the Trials franchise, so this is definitely one I’m going to have to check out soon.

If you’re interested in picking up Descenders, pre-orders are now open at retailers like GameStop for $39.99. It’s worth noting that this is $10 higher than on other platforms, but this isn’t anything new for Switch titles.
