Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles is getting a Nintendo Switch version, with a release date set for June 9 in Japan. The announcement comes from this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine (via Ryokutya2089).
The Demon Slayer 3D fighter developed by CyberConnect2 was initially released worldwide for pretty much every other platform but the Switch back in October 2021. Now the Nintendo Switch will get the Demon Slayer fighting game, but we’re not sure if it’ll come with any new content.
The base game will go for 7,480 yen (~$65.20). A limited-edition version will also be available to purchase for 11,800 yen (~$102.84). The special edition includes a set of “Butterfly Mansion Patient” and “Kimetsu Academy” costumes. It will also come with 16,000 Kimetsu Points.
While we still don’t know about any new features or extras, Famitsu will provide follow-up information about the Switch version later this month. Stay tuned for more details.
