Demon Slayer game Nintendo Switch release date June 10, 2022 Sega CyberConnect 2 West United States US Europe confirmed full post-launch content included physical launch preorder bonus Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles

Last week, we reported that CyberConnect2 arena fighter Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles is coming to Nintendo Switch in Japan this June, and now publisher Sega has confirmed that the game will also launch in the United States and Europe with a release date of June 10, 2022. You will be able to preorder the game digitally or physically, with the physical launch edition of the game including “1 Kimetsu Academy Character Unlock Key (Tanjiro Kamado).” The game is currently already available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam.

The Switch version of this Demon Slayer game will include all post-launch content from the other versions, including Rui, Akaza, Susamaru, Yahaba, Enmu, and Yushiro & Tamayo as playable characters. The online missions that reward Kimetsu Points will also be there, along with the balancing tweaks other releases of the game received.

For the uninitiated, here’s what else you can expect from the game Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles on Nintendo Switch:

  • Exhilarating Arena Battles—Master the multitude of spectacular skills of a wide roster of characters from the anime and the series’ official spinoff, including Tanjiro and Nezuko, to overcome challengers in head-to-head battle, locally and online.
  • Moving Drama—Take up the sword as Tanjiro Kamado and guide his journey to become a Demon Slayer and turn his sister Nezuko back into a human.
  • Thrilling Boss Battles—Action and drama reach their peak in specially designed battles against powerful demons that will test Tanjiro’s mettle.
  • Original Anime Voice Cast—The original English and Japanese voice casts of the anime return to bring their authentic portrayals to the game.

If you waited this long to play Demon Slayer on Switch, a few more months for the June release date shouldn’t be too much to bear.
