It’s a great time to be a Deltarune fan! The long-awaited successor to Undertale is launching in chapters, and Chapter 2 recently came out on PC. Consoles players are feeling a bit left out, but that’s over! During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo revealed that Deltarune Chapter 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch today for free. About the game
Deltarune is a successor to the indie sensation Undertale, but it’s not exactly a sequel or prequel. The game features themes of Light and Dark, with players going into dream-like “Dark Worlds” that play out like fantasy adventures. Now that Deltarune Chapter 2 is out, Toby Fox and his team are back to work on the rest of the game. The current plan is to release Chapters 3, 4, and 5 all at once as a paid bundle in the future. According to the in-game menu, there will be a total of 7 chapters.
