At the tail end of the Super Smash Bros Ultimate stream for Kazuya and Mishima Dojo from Tekken today, Masahiro Sakurai announced Mii Fighter Costumes Round 10, and there are some whopper Mii Fighters this time around: Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia as a Swordfighter, the Dragonborn from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as a Swordfighter, Dante from Devil May Cry as a Swordfighter, and Shantae from her eponymous series as a Brawler. Shantae uniquely will be bringing a song track, “Burning Town” from Shantae: Half-Genie Hero. They cost $0.75 each and launch alongside Kazuya tomorrow.
Sakurai said a lot of Super Smash Bros Ultimate players had hoped to play as these characters individually and that they might be surprised to see them playable at last in some form as Mii Fighters. Well, we’re certainly surprised anyway. Some may also be disappointed to see the likes of Dante and Shantae as Mii Fighters as opposed to full Super Smash Bros Ultimate characters, but there is only so much space in the game and it’s pretty amazing to see Shantae included at all. Also, I had seen some people predicting Lloyd would join as a Mii Fighter today, so those people deserve a hearty pat on the back.
Of Lloyd, Dragonborn, Dante, and Shantae, whom are you most excited and/or disappointed to see become a Mii Fighter in Super Smash Bros Ultimate?
