Danganronpa Decadence release date set for December

Danganronpa Decadence release date December 2021 Spike Chunsoft

During the E3 2021 Nintendo Direct, Spike Chunsoft announced Danganronpa Decadence, a collection of anniversary editions of the three original games, plus souped-up board game Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp. Standard and collector’s edition versions of Danganronpa Decadence are available for preorder on Nintendo Switch, and Spike Chunsoft has at last set a release date of December 3, 2021 for the game in North America and Europe. And although this collection is exclusively a physical release, the individual games will be sold separately digitally on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

The standard version of Danganronpa Decadence is $59.99, whereas the special edition is $99.99 and includes a 10th anniversary poster, set of three lenticular prints, an OST containing 10 remixed tracks from series composer Masafumi Takada, and a collector’s outer box. Regardless of what you choose to buy, the series is about being forced into a “killing game” with your fellow high schoolers, as orchestrated by a malevolent bear, and there are adventure and visual novel elements. Additionally, “Each game comes with a gallery feature that allows you to view event illustrations, scenes, and listen to voiced dialogue!”

With the Danganronpa Decadence release date set for December 3, that places it in direct opposition with Advance Wars 1+2: ReBoot Camp, which launches on the same day.
