Crysis Remastered Switch patch update fixes audio and dialogue issues

Crytek has released a new patch for Crysis Remastered on Nintendo Switch, bringing the game to version 1.2.0. This update follows on from the recent patches for Crysis 2 and 3 Remastered, which received similar treatment earlier this month. Crysis Remastered on Nintendo Switch has received technical improvements with its latest update, as well as some additional language options. Here are the full patch notes for the Crysis Remastered update.

Crysis Remastered version 1.2.0 patch notes

  • Fixed various audio & dialog issues,

  • Improved silhouettes for moving objects,

  • Added language selection in the options menu,

  • Added Traditional and Simplified Chinese language options.

Crytek has confirmed that version 1.2.0 will be the last patch of the year but also announced that future updates are planned for all versions of the game. When the original version was released in 2007, it became a meme to joke about whether or not your PC could run the game. At the time, it required hearty PC specifications to run it at a decent frame rate, yet here we are, able to now play such an infamous game on a Nintendo platform in 2021. The trilogy of Crysis Remastered, Crysis 2 Remastered, and Crysis 3 Remastered are available to download on the Nintendo eShop. The games perform surprisingly well on Switch.
