If you watched today’s Indie World event, you might have been shocked to learn Axiom Verge 2 is out today on Nintendo Switch. And it appears to be quite good. However, what about those of us who shun the all-digital future? Or gamers who never played the original Axiom Verge? As it turns out, Limited Run Games has us covered. Both Axiom Verge titles will be getting the Limited Run physical treatment. Pre-orders start in October.

As the post states, there will be two physical releases for the Axiom Verge games. One will contain Axiom Verge 2 on its lonesome. The other consists of both Axiom Verge 1 + 2. Fans can pre-order either on October 1. As someone who has never played the original, the twin pack is quite enticing.
I’m surprised Limited Run Games did not announce a version of the OG game by itself. Or an ultra-fancy edition of the two titles. Although, the company could just be delaying a reveal for a later date. Here’s hoping some giant Sentinel replica is included!
