Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions drops Senegal Junior Youth trailer

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions Senegal Junior Youth

Bandai Namco is well known for putting out a variety of video games that take place in iconic anime worlds, from One Piece to Dragon Ball Z and even a game set in the wild world of One Punch Man. Most of these games end up falling into pretty similar genres and styles, but Bandai Namco is shaking things up with their upcoming anime game Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions. Instead of being an arena brawler or a fighting game, this video game version of the iconic Captain Tsubasa manga and anime series is a hot-blooded soccer game full of high-energy plays and arcade-y sports action. We’ve seen trailers released for a few of the many teams you’ll meet in the game, like the American Junior Youth and the German Junor Youth teams. The latest trailer for the game shows off the members of the promising Senegal Junior Youth team.

Like the previous Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions trailer that showed off the members of the American Junior Youth team, this short trailer only showcases two athletes set to be included in the game. One is Ismail Senghor, who sports a super-powered kick that can zigzag the ball across the field. The other is Moussa Malick Diallo, who summons the speed of an eagle with his super powered kick.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is set to launch sometime in 2020 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC.
