Yodobashi, a massive electronic chain in Japan, is even out of stock at nearly every location. They’re currently accepting orders for when Nintendo restocks the retail title.
Are you surprised about the popularity of Captain Toad in Japan? Is the demand this high, or did Nintendo underestimate the game’s appeal? Regardless of the answer, the title’s surely a hit in the region.
