Cadence of Hyrule boogies to Nintendo Switch on June 13

Cadence of Hyrule E3 2019

We finally got a release date for the Crypt of the NecroDancer and The Legend of Zelda crossover! During today’s Nintendo Direct, a brief trailer for Cadence of Hyrule popped up in the middle of the presentation. And it turns out that it’s coming quite soon.

Cadence of Hyrule will launch this Thursday, on June 13. The trailer showcases more of the rhythmic gameplay, this time with Link, Zelda, and Cadence laying waste to more familiar monsters. Among the new beasts is a boss (or miniboss?) based on the recurring Zelda boss Gohma. See Ghomaracs in the launch trailer above!

Going by some of the new artwork, I’m especially curious to know more about the ominous maestro-like villain there…

The surprise Crypt of the NecroDancer sequel first debuted at the end of the April Nindies Direct. You can pre-purchase the game via the eShop right now for $24.99 USD.

Will you be downloading Cadence of Hyrule this Thursday? What other crazy Nintendo-indie collaborations would you want to see? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
