Not so impossible: Breath of the Wild player collects formerly unreachable arrow

Breath of the Wild impossible arrow

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is beloved for many, many reasons, including its impressive sandbox and weaponizable glitches, both of which were recently utilized by glitch hunter LegendofLinkk to collect a recently discovered “impossible arrow” above Gerudo Town. You can see LegendofLinkk’s collection strategy in action in the video below.

The Impossible Arrow is one of many trivial items hidden throughout Breath of the Wild in areas that are not accessible through traditional gameplay. Although the inaccessible items themselves are generally unremarkable (in this case, the prize is a simple Shock Arrow), high-level Breath of the Wild players love to challenge themselves to find intricate ways to access the items.

In this case, LegendofLinkk had to get quite creative to reach the Shock Arrow. The arrow was situated high above Gerudo Town – in fact, it sits well above the upper limits of the game’s skybox. To reach the impossible arrow, LegondofLinkk had to use a few different Breath of the Wild glitch methods in quick succession, including a nine-minute moon jump, an infinite jump glitch, and a volley of bomb arrows that allowed Link to ragdoll toward the arrow. Words do not do the process justice, so I really do advise that you check out the video.
