We’re a few weeks into a new year, and within the next few weeks and months, we should get a much clearer picture of Nintendo’s plans for 2021. We have a handful of ideas so far. For example, they’ve got plenty of major exclusives on the way – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild‘s sequel, Metroid Prime 4, and Bayonetta 3, for starters – rumors of the Switch Pro are flying high, and there’s the looming Mariopocalypse at the end of March. We’ll hopefully learn about the validity of any rumors and of Nintendo’s intentions for their quietly-developing games soon, but in the meantime, air out your hopes, logic be damned. What do you most want to see from Nintendo in 2021?

I want the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild to hurry up and get here. I do have high hopes for Nintendo this year all around, between wanting Super Mario Galaxy 2 to arrive on the eShop, hoping for a Switch Pro, and a bit more, but I’ve waited too darn long for the next The Legend of Zelda title. The series is celebrating its 35th birthday in 2021, and a sequel to one of its best games would be a perfect way to celebrate, don’t you think?

What do you most want to see from Nintendo in 2021? Is there a particular game you’ve got in mind? What about new hardware, or an online overhaul? Let us know in the comments below.
