Bravely Default II gets a brand new trailer showing the kingdom of Wiswald

Square Enix just dropped a new Bravely Default II trailer showing off the kingdom of Wiswald. Check it out below, courtesy of the Square Enix YouTube channel, which shows off some of the area, along with lots of dialogue and character shots that you unfortunately will not understand unless you speak Japanese.

With massive branches sprawling throughout the level, Wiswald is a kingdom in the woods. It looks quite nice, and if the video’s musical backdrop is any indication, the level will benefit from a great soundtrack as well. It’s hard to glean much else from the trailer, but then again, I do not need a whole lot of detail to get excited for Bravely Default II. I really like what I played of the first game, and am ready to see if this new entry can firmly establish another juggernaut JRPG series for Square Enix.

Bravely Default II is not set to release until February 2021, but if you need a fix right away, you can check out a demo on the eShop. Are you excited for the game? Did you play the first two entries in the series? If so, what’d you think of them? Let us know in the comment section below.
