Bravely Default and Bravely Default II OST Spotify

Whether you like the story of the Bravely Default games is one thing, but there’s no denying that both games have great OSTs by Revo. You can now listen to the original soundtracks of both Bravely Default and Bravely Default II on Spotify.

The Bravely Default OST tracklist features 46 songs. The Bravely Default II OST meanwhile comes with 62 songs across three discs. The physical soundtracks of both Bravely Default games are only available in Japan. However, the Spotify release makes it the first official non-imported release for fans outside Japan.

Both Bravely Default OSTs feature music by Revo of Sound Horizon. The music’s initial concept was to evoke a similar feeling you get from classic RPG series like Dragon Quest, SaGa, and, of course, Final Fantasy. While Revo composed the original Bravely Default‘s musiche took a break for its direct sequel, Bravely Second: End Layer. Revo returned for another go at the series with the recently released Bravely Default II.

The first Bravely Default was only released in Japan as Bravely Default: Flying Fairy for the 3DS in October 2012. Its expanded version titled Bravely Default: For the Sequel was released in December 2013 as an updated version, the version that came West. Bravely Default II was released for Nintendo Switch in February 2021. Check out our review for the game for some thoughts on the battle system and soundtrack.
