The 2017 magical girl RPG Blue Reflection is getting three new titles as part of a cross-media project. Koei Tecmo has announced two new titles at Anime Japan 2021, with one of them being Blue Reflection: Second Light for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC.
While Gust is known for making the Atelier games and more recently a Fairy Tail RPG, Blue Reflection was something different from the developers at the time. It features magical girl “henshin” transformations and an all-girls high school setting, but the story focuses more on the interactions and relationships between women and the growth of the protagonist Hinako Shirai through experiences with her classmates.
The publisher previously announced the Blue Reflection Ray anime, based on the original Blue Reflection, as the first title from the cross-media project. The second title is Blue Reflection Sun, coming to iOS and Android devices and on PC via DMM Games. Lastly, Koei Tecmo and Gust revealed Blue Reflection Tai as the big console game for the project.
We still don’t have any details about the new games other than their titles, but Koei Tecmo didn’t take long to follow up with the localized title for Blue Reflection Tai in the West as Blue Reflection: Second Light:
