Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, a phenomenal callback to Castlevania III released last year by developer Inti Creates, will be receiving a surprise physical release courtesy of Limited Run Games. Even better, it’s also getting an optional collector’s edition! Preorders for either version for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita will begin on March 15. Check out the reveal in the tweets below.

The Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon Collector's Edition features a poster of original art from Tom duBois (creator of iconic covers for games like Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse).

As you can see, the collector’s edition comes with a retro box and sleeve, as well as a double-sided poster and a soundtrack.
I had so much fun with Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon on the PlayStation 4. It had a really perfect balance of challenge without feeling too frustrating, and it was also deeply replayable with its different characters and different ways of playing the game. It really was an awesome way to whet appetites for the main event, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, which releases this summer.
Will you be preordering this one, and if so, will you spring for the collector’s edition? Let us know!
