Bloodless is now playable in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Switch

Back on Halloween, 505 Games and ArtPlay casually announced that boss character Bloodless would become a bonus playable character in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. However, as is somewhat common now, the character ultimately arrived on other platforms before Nintendo Switch. But the dissonance ends here! Bloodless is at last playable in Bloodstained on Switch. You can take a look at her in action in a trailer released earlier this month. The official website provides additional details.

To play as Bloodless in Bloodstained on Switch, you just have to start a new save file and use the name “BLOODLESS.” (It must be all-caps.) Then you should hear her voice and have the ability to select her. In your playthrough using this exceptionally dangerous lady, you can collect additional skills and increase her attributes by finding special crystal globes in the map.

It’s important to reiterate that Bloodless is strictly a bonus playable character and is not the mystery character teased in the roadmap a long while back. That means one more character is still coming to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and all we know for sure is that it is not Dominique. More modes are still in the development pipeline for next year as well, including Classic Mode and Chaos Mode.
