The roster of mega-crossover fighting game BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle continues to expand further and further. During the EVO fighting game tournament in Las Vegas last month, Arc System Works announced that version 2.0 of the game will drop in November, bringing nine new characters with it. They shared the identities of four of those characters that day, and now it’s been confirmed that on Sept 22, the remaining five will be revealed.

When players boot up BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle on Nov 21, they’ll be greeted by a new 2.0 version of the game that includes balance updates and new story content. At the same time, a new purchasable content pack will launch that includes nine new playable characters to add to the already massive roster of the fighting game.

As of now, we know four of the characters coming to Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle. There’s Yumi, the ice-wielding ninja from sexy slash-em-up series Senran Kagura. Then, there’s the silent but deadly fighter Neo Politan from 3DCG action series RWBY. Finally, there are two fighters arriving from the old-school and incredible indie fighting game Akatsuki Blitzkampf. The first is Akatsuki, our lightning-wielding protagonist. The second is Blitztank, who is a giant tank with a skull for a face. Obviously.

As for the remaining five characters coming to BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, we don’t know who they are or what franchises they come from yet. But on Sept 22 at 11:00 Japan time (Sept 21 at 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT), Arc System Works will hold a special Arc Nama SP live stream. There they will share info on the final 5 characters in the pack. We might even get a look at what the new story elements of version 2.0 will entail. You’ll be able to catch the livestream on YouTube, Twitch, and Niconico.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is available now for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC.
