Bill Trinen on possibility of ‘Smash Bros. Ultimate’ demo before launch

Nintendo has been releasing more and more demos, especially with their online titles. Switch games like Splatoon 2 and ARMS received a demo ahead of launch, but will Super Smash Bros. Ultimate get the same treatment? IGN caught up with Nintendo’s Bill Trinen at San Diego Comic-Con and he commented on the possibility.

“Very good question,” said Trinen. “Right now they’re focused very much on getting the game ready. We have a few other things to talk about down the road between now and when it launches in December. We’ll hopefully have some news on that as we get closer to launch,” he added.
