Episode 5 of Pokémon Evolutions just dropped, taking us to the Sinnoh region. If you’re not familiar, this is a free, animated mini-series on YouTube. Eight episodes are planned in total, rolling out over a few months, and each one is set in a different region. In Episode 1, we saw the showdown between Leon and Eternatus. In Episode 2, Lillie and Nebby team up to battle against the powerful and destructive Necrozma. Episode 3 focused on the evil plans of Lysandre. In Episode 4, Ghetsis played puppet master with N’s life. In today’s episode, Barry faces off against his greatest rival: his dad.

Celebrating Sinnoh
Pokémon Evolutions: Episode 5 takes us back to the Sinnoh region and Gen 4, which is fitting. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl recently launched on Switch, so why not celebrate with a Sinnoh-themed episode of Evolutions? This time around Barry’s facing off against his dad, Palmer, leader of the Battle Tower. We see flashbacks to Barry’s triumphs and struggles on his Pokémon journey. Each step of the way wonders if he’ll ever be strong enough to defeat his father. Come on, Barry! Have some confidence!
