B.ARK launch trailer shows off retro shoot ’em up action

B.ARK, a shoot ’em up from Tic Toc Games that stars a cast of cute but deadly animals piloting powerful starships, has received a launch trailer to commemorate its recent availability on Switch. The game brings its own spin to the typical shoot ’em up formula with an emphasis on expansive cooperative play and cuteness. You can check it out below.

The gameplay looks fast and furious enough to sell plenty of shoot ’em up fans right off the bat. However, if you’d like to know a little bit more about B.ARK and its interesting origins, you should check out this interview we held last August with two members of the development team. There, we discussed the ins and outs of B.ARK, learning all about its origins, why it opted for a 2D art style, how it is built to cater to both single and cooperative playstyles, and more. Give it a look!

Are you interested in trying out B.ARK? Why or why not? Personally, I think that it looks pretty darn good. Next time that I am feeling a shoot ’em up, I’ll certainly give this one a look. Chime in, and let us know what you think of the gameplay showcased in the launch trailer in the comments below.
