Atelier Ryza 1 million shipped

Koei Tecmo has announced that the two Atelier Ryza games have reached a milestone of 1 million units shipped worldwide. To celebrate the occasion, all players will be given DLC costumes for Atelier Ryza on March 31, 2021.

The 2019 title Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout is the first entry from the Secret sub-series. The story follows Reisalin Stoud, also known as “Ryza,” who always dreamed of leaving her home of Kurken Island to go on a big adventure. One day she sets off on a journey to the mainland with her close friends Tao and Lent. They meet several other companions along the way, including the strange travelers Empel and Lila, who join their party. The first entry tells us about the secrets of Kurken Island that Ryza only learns after leaving it.

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy was first released in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Switch in December 2020. The PC version launched alongside the North American and European releases in January 2021. The second game is a direct sequel that takes place three years after the first game. It is set in the capital city of Ashra-am Baird, where Ryza reunites with her old friends. Ryza also meets a mysterious creature known as Fi, who ends up playing a much bigger role than expected.

Koei Tecmo is celebrating the Atelier Ryza 1 million milestone with the “Summer Adventure” and “Divertimento’s Embrace” DLC costumes, which as mentioned will be available on March 31, 2021.

Atelier Ryza and Atelier Ryza 2 are both available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
