Astral Chain review roundup

Astral Chain

Only six months after Astral Chain‘s February reveal, the decidedly stylish, unique, and downright weird action title is here. You can now officially set any doubts or fears you may have had aside: the reviews are in, and it lives up to the hype. Just under an hour after the review embargo lifted, the game is sitting at an 88 on Metacritic with thirty-four out of thirty-five reviews being positive, and one perfect score to boot.

Our own Brett Medlock gave the game a 9.5 out of 10 and stated the following:

I was not expecting to be captivated by Astral Chain‘s extremely in-depth character progression, brilliant puzzles, and enthralling story. Buyer beware: Astral Chain is so much more than just an action game.

To know more about what he thought of it, you can watch our review below. If you would rather just see some scores, read on.
