Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection drops anchor quite soon. You can play these lovely seafaring adventures on the go starting Friday, December 6. The titles will be available both digitally and physically, though it is still unknown whether all of the package’s data will be on the game cartridge or if a separate download will be necessary. The collection will run for $40.
The release date was discovered on Ubisoft’s official listing for Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection. The page also gives a brief description of each game. For those long out of the loop on everyone’s favorite historical swashbuckling series, this pack contains Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, an adventure set in the expansive Caribbean Sea during the Golden Age of Piracy, all of its single-player DLC, and Assassin’s Creed Rogue, a side-story set in 18th century New York following a rogue Assassin who defects to the rival Templars. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is often named as one of the best titles in the series, something I’m inclined to agree with, while Assassin’s Creed Rogue has been met with more lukewarm reception despite its intriguing set-up.
Will you be picking up Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection? So long as the ports run well, the ability to play Black Flag on a handheld will rightfully make for a very, very compelling package for many of us.
