Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection Switch release date set for February

Ubisoft Assassins Creed: The Ezio Collection Nintendo Switch release date February 17, 2022 2 II Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is coming to Nintendo Switch with a release date of February 17, 2022, an acclaimed collection including enhanced versions of Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Protagonist Ezio Auditore da Firenze is a fan favorite, and now you will be able to experience his full adventure on Switch. This all agrees with a report from December that said the collection would be coming to Switch.

The Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection Nintendo Switch release date trailer reminds you what the three games are like, but on top of that, Ubisoft says that the collection “takes full advantage of the capabilities of the Nintendo Switch, including enhanced features such as Handheld Mode, HD Rumble, Touchscreen Interface, and Optimized HUD.” It’s nice to hear Ubisoft put in the effort to add those extra touches, since The Ezio Collection originally launched in 2016 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Also, if you just can’t get enough of Ezio, the collection includes two short films that explore his story even further, Assassin’s Creed Lineage and Assassin’s Creed Embers.

With an Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection release date set and a heaping helping of Assassin’s Creed II coming to Switch, that means a lot of the franchise is available on the hybrid platform now. Assassin’s Creed III: Remastered and Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection previously made the jump.

Ezio will cost $39.99 physically and digitally.
