As E3 2018 Comes to a Close, the Official Date for E3 2019 is Announced

At this point, all of the companies and personnel that poured into Los Angeles, California over this past weekend are tearing everything down, packing up and heading out. The show is now officially over: “That’s all folks!”, as Porky Pig would say. But, as is usually the case, the E3 team has already confirmed the dates for next year’s show:  June 11 – 13, 2019.

It will certainly be interesting to see what kind of announcements come out of next year’s show. Both Sony and Microsoft casually acknowledged the existence of their next-gen platforms, which have been heavily rumored to launch sometime around 2020 or 2021. So, there’s a chance we might be seeing hardware reveals next year. That shouldn’t be too big of an issue for Nintendo and the Switch though, as the system has been continuously selling well ever since it launched back in March. Nintendo is pleased with its current performance and that’s probably not going to change by this time next year.
