Apex Legends Switch gameplay trailer looks better than expected

Apex Legends Nintendo Switch gameplay trailer Panic Button EA Respawn Entertainment Champion Edition $39.99 unlocks

First announced last year, then delayed, then subjected to rumors, we ultimately learned last month that EA and Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 9 courtesy of port specialist Panic Button. Today, EA at last unleashed an Apex Legends Nintendo Switch gameplay trailer, and — it looks pretty good, actually!

To be fair, I don’t play the game at all and I certainly have not spent a lot of time watching it played on a high-end PC, so I don’t have a perfect frame of reference. But this Apex Legends Switch gameplay trailer has some sharp textures and nice lighting, and it isn’t full of the blurriness and rough jaggy polygons I was expecting. Panic Button again lives up to its reputation.

Since Season 8: Mayhem has already begun, Nintendo Switch players of the game will receive some perks in order to make up for lost time with the Season 8 Battle Pass, including 30 free levels, as well as the ability to earn double XP for the first two weeks of the game’s availability. They can likewise receive the Legendary Pathfinder skin “- P.A.T.H. -” for a “limited time.”

Apex Legends is free to play, but you can purchase Apex Legends Champion Edition on Nintendo Switch for $39.99 to obtain all Legends through Season 7 (nine character unlocks), seven exclusive Legendary items, and 1,000 Apex Coins.

What do you think of the Apex Legends Switch gameplay trailer?
