Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is getting nine new animals

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp 9 new animals

With all the hype surrounding Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the mobile spin-off Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp might have been forgotten. However, more content continues to come to the game as the game passes its third anniversary. This week, nine new animals are crowding at the game’s dango stand.

The full new character list includes Soleil, Benedict, Rooney, Candi, Cyrano, Friga, Zucker Al and Peaches. To get the animals, you can grab maps through souvenirs, by exporting to certain islands using Gulliver’s Ship. If you don’t fancy that, animals can be found by simply exploring and by taking part in Blather’s Treasure Trek.

These nine animals come after last week’s major 4.0.0 update. This update added two augmented reality (AR) modes to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. The modes allow players to take photos using the AR Camera or at the game’s AR Cabin. That wasn’t the only addition in the major update though.

An extensive list of changes and fixes were also implemented. Campsites have been expanded, along with general inventory size for clothing and furniture. Players can now arrange furniture when moving the camera angle, and you can now store all of your displayed furniture in one go.
