Animal Crossing: New Horizons is still a few months away, but Nintendo is getting the hype machine’s gears turning. The official Animal Crossing Twitter account is shifting its focus from Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp to the upcoming Switch title. The Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp faithful need not fret, however; Nintendo has started up a new Twitter account exclusively dedicated to promoting their mobile Animal Crossing title. Instead of having Isabelle run the account, Nintendo has reached into Animal Crossing lore and plucked out Lloid, who will assume the mantle and deliver all of the Pocket Camp news anyone could ever dream of.
Hello! It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Lloid, and I'll be taking over from Isabelle to give you the latest Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp news.
I'm having some difficulty operating this "keyboard" with my wiggly arms, but bear with me!
I'm sure I'll get the hang of it in time! pic.twitter.com/Rqym4TToRw— Pocket_camp (@Pocket_Camp) November 21, 2019
If following new Twitter accounts is especially burdensome to you, have no fear. While gearing up for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Isabelle will luckily continue to provide some Pocket Camp updates for a little while longer.
I'll continue to provide Pocket Camp updates for a while, as Lloid gets situated. Starting next month, though, @Pocket_Camp will be your go-to source of news for everything relevant to your campsite!

Some barely noticeable seismic activity among Nintendo-branded Twitter accounts is rarely notable (and may not even be noteworthy in this case), but one facet of all of this is quite exciting: the Animal Crossing: New Horizons hype train is dusting off the cobwebs it accrued in its delay, and now, it’s about to leave the station at full speed. Get ready, friends.
Patiently waiting until #AnimalCrossing: New Horizons…
4 months to go!
