Another Animal Crossing clothing collaboration has been revealed by Nintendo in Japan, this time with Japanese company Gelato Pique. The product line focuses on loungewear, featuring different Animal Crossing designs. The full range will reportedly go live early on Jan. 13 with preorders beginning Nov. 18, and select items will also become available at Gelato Pique retail stores and Nintendo Tokyo.
The clothing line features a few themed pullovers, a pair of pants, some shorts, a hoodie, some slippers, a pouch, a cushion and an online-exclusive blanket. There’s a strong focus on Timmy and Tommy, who feature on a lot of the designs. It all looks suitably cute though. Gelato Pique does have a US online store, so hopefully this range comes to the West as well. A different Animal Crossing clothing collection from BlackMilk was revealed last month in Australia.
Alongside this clothing range comes a book, also in collaboration with Gelato Pique. The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Meets Gelato Pique Special Book has only been revealed for the Japanese market so far. It is set to be sold at 7-Eleven bookstores in Japan when it releases on Dec. 22. The book will feature Japanese model Mayu Matsuoka showcasing the loungewear range. It also comes bundled with a pouch and a large tote bag, costing ¥2,189.
