Amazon US: Get $35 in eShop credit when buying a Nintendo Switch

There is certainly no shortage in games for Nintendo Switch. With a massive 2800+ game count since its launch a little over two years ago, and even more on the way, now is probably no better time to own the hybrid system for yourself. That said, some might still be on the fence, but a limited time-only promotion on Amazon US might sweeten the deal for newcomers.

In a new commercial for the system, Nintendo announced a free $35 credit for the Nintendo eShop when purchasing a Switch off Amazon. A perfect gift “for your favorite player 2,” you can take advantage of this deal from Monday, July 15 at 12am PT until Tuesday, July 16 at 11:59pm PT. It’s certainly a short timeframe, but it might be worth picking up for the extra eShop credit alone. You could certainly put that money towards upcoming titles like Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order or Fire Emblem: Three Houses, or maybe recent hits like Cadence of Hyrule and Super Mario Maker 2.

Does this sound like a pretty good deal to you if you haven’t got a Switch yet? What games would you recommend for new players? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
