12. Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk

Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk is a dungeon-crawling turned-based RPG where you play as a girl named Dronya. Her story involves building your own army, creating puppet soldiers, and exploring the Well of Khalaza. However, no one has ever explored the Well of Khalaza and returned — well, except for one guy, and you have his personal book to guide you throughout it. Dronya seeks to use its knowledge and her brigade of enchanted puppet soldiers to conquer the labyrinth for herself.

13. God Wars: The Complete Legend

God Wars: The Complete Legend builds upon last year’s PS4 and Vita releases with a bunch of new features. The game also boasts beautifully stylized cinematics with an interesting story to go with it. The Switch version contains over 100 hours of additional content, including all of God Wars: Future Past’s DLC and updates to the game’s mechanics. This is easily the definitive version of God Wars.

14. Mercenaries Saga Chronicles

Mercenaries Saga Chronicles is a collection of the three games in the Mercenary Saga series; Mercenaries Saga: Will of the White Lions, Mercenaries Saga 2: Order of the Silver Eagle and Mercenaries Saga 3: Gray Wolves of War. All three titles are role-playing games extremely similar to Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre — which we all need more of in our lives! So if you want to scratch that Final Fantasy Tactics itch, look no further than Mercenaries Saga Chronicles for Nintendo Switch.

15. Little Dragons Cafe Limited Edition

Little Dragons Cafe Limited Edition is presented in a cutesy cell-shaded art style that is bursting with convivial spunk. The story follows twins who manage a cafe with their mother. 16. Code of Princess EX

Code of Princess EX originally came to the Nintendo 3DS back in October 2012. Now, almost six years later, we’re getting a remastered edition on our favorite hybrid platform. The game features a unique combination of beat-’em-up action and JRPG madness. Fans of both genres should easily enjoy the fantasy combat of Code of Princess EX. The game also includes a roster of over 50 playable characters, all of whom can be upgraded with new abilities and equipment. If you never played in on 3DS, it’s safe to say there’s no better time than now to give this game a shot.

17. Hello Neighbor

Hello Neighbor is a stealth horror game where you have to sneak into your neighbor’s house to figure out what horrible secrets he may be hiding. Did you see that Goosebumps movie from a couple years ago? It’s pretty much the same thing as the first third of that film, and I totally dig it. What’s interesting about Hello Neighbor is that the AI actually starts to learn your every move, causing things to get seriously intense.

18. Go Vacation

Go Vacation was sort of a sleeper hit on the original Wii, so I’m glad it’s getting another chance to have some limelight on Nintendo Switch. There haven’t been many motion-control focused games on Switch, so I think this HD remaster is a welcome addition to the Switch library. From skydiving to beach volleyball, there are more than fifty different games and activities to enjoy. Go Vacation could be the star of your next family game night.

19. MUSYNX

MUSYNX just might keep you glued to your Nintendo Switch. This rhythm game has more than fifty songs of all genres including pop, classical, trance, vocaloid, and R&B. The gameplay is simple but can become very difficult as well. To add to that, each track has some incredible visual effects that match the song. Any Nintendo Switch owner who loves rhythm games should keep an eye on this game.

20. Yoku’s Island Express (physical release)

Yoku’s Island Express is a platforming adventure game that uses pinball mechanics. It also features non-linear gameplay that gives you the freedom to explore levels and create your own path. The game was created by industry veterans who have worked on AAA titles such as Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 and Wolfenstein: The New Order. It’s currently already available on the eShop and it has been praised by critics earning an average score of 82 on metacritic.

21. The Lost Child

In this visual novel, you play as a journalist who is investigating a series of mysterious suicides in Tokyo. During his investigation, he meets a strange girl who implores him that he must not die. She then gives him a mystical device that allows him to capture celestial and arcane creatures. He is then transported into a world beyond our own, home to horrific monsters and celestial beings. If you’re a fan of the visual novel genre, the Nintendo Switch is the best place to play them in my opinion, given its portability function.

22. Warriors Orochi 4

If you were a fan of Hyrule Warriors of Fire Emblem Warriors on Nintendo Switch, then Warriors Orochi 4 will be right up your alley. Hack and slash your way through hoards of enemies and play as characters from both “Samurai Warriors” and “Dynasty Warriors” universes. The Switch has been getting a bunch of Dynasty Warriors-like games so here’s another one to add to your collection.
